Overview
Following Catalay’s nomination as a Trends Gazelle for the Antwerp region, our company was recently featured in Trends. Discover what defines Catalay today in the article below.

"Founded in 2010, Catalay provides companies with high-level engineering services. Its growth is underpinned by strong values that serve as the driving force behind this SME, which is based in Braine-l’Alleud, Antwerp, and Lille.

Despite the economic slowdown, engineers remain highly sought-after on the job market. In this competitive environment, consultancy firm Catalay has managed to stand out thanks to a human-first approach that enabled it to surpass the milestone of 100 employees in 2023.

“Our three core values are honesty, dedication, and fun,” explains Pascal Severs, Managing Director of Catalay. “And we actively put them into practice every day to support our clients with the best profiles. An engineer, technician, or designer who joins us will work on projects aligned with their education and ambitions, in cutting-edge sectors such as industry, civil engineering, energy, and infrastructure.

Alongside work, we organize numerous social events that strengthen bonds between our consultants. Finally, we offer a wide range of training opportunities, both in soft and hard skills, as well as several loyalty programs tailored to the engineer’s level of experience.

All of these initiatives allow our consultants to feel motivated, committed, and fully competent, with a direct impact on our clients.”

Significant growth

The result: turnover exceeded €18 million in 2025, driven by a portfolio of around 65 major engineering clients in Belgium and France. The outlook for the year ahead is just as promising.

“The human factor will remain central to our approach,” adds Marie Foret, Business Manager. “Thanks to a stable sales team, we take the time to get to know our consultants, regularly gather their feedback, and ensure their assignments run smoothly, while providing support whenever necessary. We build long-term relationships.”

With numerous projects underway, particularly on the French market, with several consultants active on the Verkor site in Dunkirk, Catalay plans to recruit more than 30 new profiles this year. A message to candidates!"
