Electrical Project Engineer

What you'll do

The electrical infrastructure sector is changing with the rollout of charging stations in Belgium. Our client is looking for a project engineer to help ensure the smooth execution of works and coordinate the parties involved, while monitoring the schedule, supplies and part of the budget, in consultation with the project manager and clients.

What you will do

• Ensure the smooth execution of works and act as the point of contact between the various parties involved.

• Work closely with the project manager, who has ultimate responsibility for the project.

• Draw up and monitor the overall project schedule.

• Manage the supply and ordering of materials, as well as part of the site budget.

• Take part in discussions with clients during the tendering phase.

Your profile

• Have a master's degree in electromechanics.

• Be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

• Speak fluent French and have a good knowledge of Dutch. (Clients speak French and Dutch.)

• Be able to travel to ongoing sites throughout Belgium.

• Communicate effectively with teams on site, clients and colleagues.

A bonus, but not a requirement: initial practical experience on a site or in project monitoring, as well as knowledge of Microsoft Project and a basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
