What you'll do
The opportunity
Our client works across engineering services, delivering solutions for sustainable energy and the built environment. As an Electrical Engineer, you will lead a small technical team while contributing to electrical design work, from feasibility studies and technical solutions through to detailed engineering and cost estimates. You will help ensure projects meet their budget, timing, quality and safety requirements.
What you'll do

Lead, motivate, coach and manage a small team of technical engineers and draftsmen.

Oversee engineering delivery against budget, schedule, quality requirements and health and safety rules.

Develop electrical designs, evaluating technical solutions and preparing feasibility studies, design principles, detailed engineering and cost estimates.

Respond to client needs and prepare and submit offers and contracts.

Report project progress weekly and coordinate with colleagues, external partners and overseas offices to maintain quality.
What you bring

A Master’s degree in Engineering and at least 15 years’ experience in electrical design.

Strong knowledge of high-, low- and very-low-voltage systems, including power supply, cabling, electrical diagrams, lighting, lightning protection, fire detection, CCTV and access control.

Experience in site security and knowledge of electrical calculation software such as Dialux-evo, ElecCalc, Caneco or ETAP.

Very good French and English, strong analytical skills and a good command of Microsoft Office.

The ability to work autonomously and collaborate effectively with a team distributed across three sites in Belgium.
Useful, but not essential: Dutch, AutoCAD and BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks or Stabicad.
