Service Technician

What you'll do

We are looking for several service technicians for the Halle and Mechelen regions.

As a technician, you are an important link in our technical operations. When a machine or installation breaks down, you swing into action. You identify the problem, carry out the necessary technical work and ensure that production can resume as quickly as possible. You also help prevent breakdowns by maintaining installations and machines properly.

You work in an environment where your technical knowledge is applied across a broad range of areas and where you face different challenges every day.

What will you do?

• You identify and resolve technical defects and breakdowns. You carry out maintenance work on machines and technical installations. You analyse problems and contribute ideas for sustainable solutions. You help ensure the reliable and efficient operation of technical installations. You support technical improvements and optimisations. You liaise with colleagues and other teams involved to tackle problems quickly. You keep the person responsible informed about work carried out and important findings.

Profile

• You have completed a technical course or gained relevant experience in a technical environment. You have a sound technical foundation and are comfortable analysing and resolving breakdowns. Experience in electromechanics, electrical work, maintenance techniques or a similar field is an advantage. You hold a full UK driving licence, category B You work accurately and have a strong sense of responsibility. Working safely comes naturally to you. You can communicate fluently in Dutch and/or French.
