What you'll do
For a technically challenging, long-term project in an industrial environment, we are looking for a Work Preparation Coordinator. In this role, you will play an important part in preparing, coordinating and following up on technical work, with a focus on replacing ageing fire doors.
You will ensure that the work is carried out efficiently, safely and in accordance with the applicable quality standards. You will work closely with internal teams, external partners and project managers.
You will start with an internal training programme to familiarise yourself with the applicable work processes and procedures. During this period, you will carry out your duties under the guidance of experienced colleagues.
Your responsibilities:
Work preparation

Prepare and plan technical work.

Coordinate internal and external partners and align the various work activities.

Identify the necessary safety and preventive measures.

Ensure the required materials, spare parts and tools are available on time.

Prepare and request work permits and supporting work, such as scaffolding, insulation, and welding and grinding work.
Monitoring and coordinating execution

Organise and monitor daily work on site.

Coordinate changes to the schedule and anticipate their possible impact on other work activities.

Ensure smooth information handovers between internal managers and external contractors.

Monitor that the work is carried out correctly and in accordance with the agreed scope, schedule and quality standards.

Ensure compliance with safety regulations and organise pre-start meetings, safety briefings and site walkabouts.
Administrative follow-up

Close out work permits and job sheets administratively.

Record and document completed work.

Maintain a record of the work history and ensure the necessary quality documentation is in place.
Your profile

You have a technical qualification at professional bachelor's degree or A2 level, or equivalent practical technical knowledge.

You have strong organisational skills and can efficiently coordinate different parties and work activities.

You are a good communicator, team-oriented and happy to take responsibility.

You have an eye for quality and safety, and for ensuring work is carried out correctly.

You are hands-on and solution-oriented, and can quickly take in new information and procedures.

You have a good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.

Knowledge of SAP is an advantage.

Experience in the nuclear, chemical, pharmaceutical or food industry would be an advantage.
