Electrical Design Engineer LV (Traineeship)

What you'll do

About the Company - The client is responsible for all infrastructure projects that meet requirements with respect to the development, expansion and renewal of the Belgian electricity transmission system between 30 and 380 kV.

About the Role - As a Low Voltage Designer Trainee, you will play a crucial role in the design and realisation of various electric installations and systems. A project involves close collaboration with Project leaders, technicians (MAC), experts and sometimes external study offices. Our Low Voltage Designers work in a team of about 15 colleagues, where we consider the sharing of knowledge very important.

Responsibilities

The work of a Technical Designer is divided into 2 different phases.

->Tasks during study phase:

• Based on the project note, carry out a study to adjust standard plans to achieve the desired end result. Taking the norms, standards and methods into account.
• Design this study with AutoCAD and perform quality control of the study.
• Discuss and solve problems together with the project leader.
• Sending the drawings to the appropriate departments.
• Option to participate in in-factory acceptance tests of the protection cubicles that are designed.

-> Tasks during the construction phase:

• Following up on site issues related to the LV study.
• Finding solutions to LV problems on site, in consultation with the Project Leader and people on site (MAC).

Qualifications - You have a qualification in a relevant technical field. For example, electricity, electromechanics, automation or engineering.

Required Skills

• You are interested in design activities and you are familiar with CAD software, preferably AutoCAD.
• You are a team player with strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• You have an eye for detail, work accurately and have strong planning and organisational skills.
• You have a strong motivation to develop further and to gain expertise in your field.

Who we're looking for

-Diplôme d'études supérieures ou expérience équivalente en électricité, électronique ou automatisation.

- Connaissance d'AutoCAD et des applications Windows Office.

- Vous êtes prêt à apprendre un métier qui nécessitera à terme un niveau d'expertise élevé et spécifique.

- Vous êtes capable de planifier et d'organiser et vous avez le sens des responsabilités.

- Vous avez de l'assurance.

- Vous êtes orienté vers la qualité et travaillez avec précision et exactitude.



- Vous avez une très bonne connaissance du français et êtes disposé à apprendre l'autre langue nationale.

- Vous êtes titulaire d'un permis de conduire
