What you'll do

Function

As a Food Auditor, you will conduct audits related to food safety, with a particular focus on IFS, BRC, FSSC 22000, and ACS standards. As an auditor, you will manage a broad client portfolio depending on your qualifications. For these clients, you will be responsible for the entire audit process, including organizing the audit (with the support of the Back Office), carrying out the audit itself, and delivering the corresponding report on time. Naturally, your responsibilities will also include following up on any non-conformities. You will regularly exchange knowledge and practical experiences with your fellow auditors and report to the Certification Manager.



The clients are mainly located in Flanders, but occasional travel to Wallonia is also required. Remote work is possible for document follow-up.

Who we're looking for

Profile

Degree: You hold a Master’s degree in Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Industrial Engineering, Veterinary Science, or Biology.

Experience: You complement this academic background with at least 5 years of professional experience in a quality management role within the food industry. Experience across various sectors is an asset! Previous experience as an auditor is a major advantage!

Personal qualities:

  • Strong communication skills and customer-oriented mindset

  • Methodical and structured working style

  • Strong sense of quality and attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently, while also being a team player with a positive attitude

  • Motivated, ambitious, eager to learn, continuously improve, and share knowledge

  • Solid language skills (French, English, and Dutch), both spoken and written
