What you'll do
The opportunity
Our client works in railway engineering and infrastructure, supporting sustainable mobility through multidisciplinary projects. Its project teams oversee civil engineering works to ensure they meet specifications, schedules, budgets, quality standards and safety requirements. As a Site Inspector, you will monitor contractors on site, document progress and help ensure that work is delivered to the required standard.
What you'll do

Monitor contractors’ work on site, check their activities and record your observations.

Measure completed work and prepare quantity assessments.

Ensure that required technical inspections take place on time.

Check contractors’ compliance with safety measures and environmental regulations.

Report daily to the Site Manager on the progress of the works.
What you bring
-
A bachelor’s degree in construction and experience monitoring infrastructure works.

Experience preparing site reports and documenting work accurately.

Knowledge of civil engineering works, including concrete and reinforcement, foundations, drainage, minor roadworks, earthworks and steel construction.

French or Dutch language skills, a strong focus on safety, and willingness to work nights and/or weekends and undertake further technical and railway safety training.
Useful, but not essential: experience in railway construction.
