Project Manager

What you'll do

The Project Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all engineering-related activities within EPC projects across Data Centers, Industrial facilities, Chemicals, Energy, Pharmaceutical, and Oil & Gas sectors.



The role ensures the technical consistency, quality, and timely delivery of engineering & CAD deliverables, acting as the technical authority for daily project decisions and interfacing with construction, procurement, suppliers, and offshore teams. The Project Engineering Manager reports to the Head of Engineering Office for escalation of critical technical decisions.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1 Technical Coordination

• Coordinate all engineering disciplines (Piping, Structures, Electrical, Instrumentation, HVAC/MEP).
• Ensure alignment between Engineering, CAD, Construction (Workshop and Site), and Procurement.
• Drive technical clarification with suppliers, subcontractors, and external engineering partners.
• Resolve technical issues on a daily basis and escalate critical ones to the Head of Engineering Office. 3.2 Planning & Scheduling
• Build and manage engineering schedules (milestones, deliverable lists, inputs for procurement) using the software MS Project.
• Monitor progress, forecast deviations, and implement mitigation actions.
• Coordinate with Project Planning to integrate engineering timelines within the overall EPC master schedule.

3.3 Engineering Budget & Cost Control

• Manage engineering hours, productivity, and discipline allocation.
• Manage Suppliers Engineering progress
• Track deviations and implement corrective actions to protect engineering budgets.
• Support project management in technical cost estimation and risk evaluation.

3.4 Risk Management

• Identify technical risks, interfaces, and design constraints.
• Maintain the engineering risk register and implement mitigation plans.
• Report technical risk exposure to the Head of Engineering and Project Management.

Who we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years as Project Engineering Manager or Senior Project Engineer or Project Manager on EPC projects.
• Proven experience in at least two EPC projects within the sectors listed above.
• Strong engineering background (construction site experience is a plus).
• Strong understanding of:
  
  o Piping & Structures
  
  o Electrical and Instrumentation
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and 3D models.
• Familiarity with CAD/BIM workflows and deliverable management.
• Experience with prefabrication and modularization is highly valued.
• Fluent in French & English (English is mandatory, French nice to have).
• Familiarity with MS Project, Primavera, Navisworks, or equivalent tools
