What you'll do

As a Project Engineer, you will be part of a growing Engineering Project Management Team, playing a vital role in the successful execution of worldwide (EPC) waste-to-energy projects. You will manage the complete lifecycle of your equipment package, from conceptual design and costing in the proposal phase, through realization in the execution phase, until final acceptance on site. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective organizational and communication skills, forward-thinking, and a willingness to travel abroad.

Challenges we will trust you with:

  • Create technical designs for equipment packages in collaboration with engineering teams and suppliers.
  • Maintain contact with potential suppliers, subcontractors, and partners for technical evaluation of offers and creation of costing files.
  • Manage your allocated budget throughout the project execution, ensuring milestones are achieved and deadlines are respected.
  • Proactively follow up with suppliers during the design, manufacturing, and delivery of the equipment package.
  • Monitor the implementation of Inspection & Test Plans in coordination with Quality Control.
  • Prepare specifications for delivery and site work execution (e.g., piping, insulation, assembly, testing, and commissioning).
  • Follow up on site works executed by the site team and provide required (remote) assistance.
  • Collect, check, and regularly update technical documentation, ensuring the final dossier is complete and meets requirements.

Who we're looking for

  • Holds a master’s degree or bachelor’s degree (or equivalent by experience) in Electromechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in delving deep into project technical details for an energy plant installation.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • EPC Project experience (nice to have)

What you'll get

  • Long-term, permanent contract, full-time with a competitive salary package.
  • Hybrid work.
  • A supportive and inspiring atmosphere where teamwork and innovation are valued.
  • Training opportunities tailored to the requirements of the role and specific projects.
  • Joining a vibrant community of experts dedicated to creating a sustainable world through the resolution of global non-recyclable waste management challenges.
