What you'll do
We are looking for a Cryogenics Engineer to contribute to the development, integration, and operation of advanced cryogenic systems used in high-technology environments. In this role, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support the full lifecycle of cryogenic equipment, from design and testing to commissioning and operational support.
Key Responsibilities

Contribute to the engineering and integration of cryogenic systems, including design support, development, testing, installation, commissioning, and operational follow-up.

Assist in refining and validating the technical design of cryogenic equipment.

Prepare and contribute to technical documentation required for procurement processes and supplier selection.

Monitor and support procurement contracts from a technical perspective, including manufacturing progress and acceptance testing of equipment.

Participate in preparation, commissioning, and operation of cryogenic test setups used during qualification campaigns.

Maintain accurate and complete documentation of the cryogenic systems throughout their lifecycle, from concept and specification to operation and maintenance.

Support installation, commissioning, and operational activities when required.

Analyse experimental and test data and compare results with theoretical models or simulation predictions.
Profile
-
Master’s degree in Physics, Engineering, or a related discipline (PhD is considered an advantage).

Solid understanding of low-temperature physics and cryogenic technologies.
-
Experience with the design and development of cryogenic hardware and the integration of complex subsystems.

Familiarity with cryogenic infrastructures used in scientific or experimental environments is an advantage.

Experience with cryogenic operation of complex modules or systems is highly valued.

Knowledge of instrumentation used in cryogenic environments is considered a strong asset.

Experience working in a research or technology-driven R&D environment.

Proactive mindset with a practical and solution-oriented approach.

Strong communication, coordination, and reporting skills.

Excellent written and spoken English.
